Der Mann hatte im Januar vergangenen Jahres Metallst\u00e4be ins Erdreich seines Feriengrundst\u00fccks gerammt und diese unter Strom gesetzt. Die Hoffnung: Durch die elektrischen St\u00f6\u00dfe wollte er Maulw\u00fcrfe vertreiben. Der Mann ber\u00fchrte allerdings einen Metallstab und starb wenig sp\u00e4ter.<\/p>\n<p>Der Darwin-Award ist die wenig schmeichelhafte Auszeichnung f\u00fcr Todesf\u00e4lle, bei denen die Opfer sich durch Ahnungslosigkeit oder Leichtsinn, auf jeden Fall aber durch eigenes Verschulden umbringen.
